Precoa Kindness Challenge

Please watch this short video message from Mark Hornibrook to learn about the Kindness Challenge and see photos of the Mis Primeros Pasos school in the Dominican Republic, which so desperately needs our help.

Precoa will match all donations, dollar for dollar, from now until we reach our $16,000 goal.

What your donations will be used for:

The Mis Primeros Pasos administrators have been saving to purchase the school property, which they currently lease. The bulk of the $16,000 will be given to the school so that they can complete that purchase. The contracts have already been drawn up to secure the price. We are confident we can help them meet this goal!

The remainder of the funds will pay for the tools and materials needed to complete several necessary projects at the school: building and repairing a security fence around the school, installing doors and windows, and building and painting new desks and chairs. Incentive travel guests have volunteered to donate the labor on these projects during our inaugural Precoa Gives Back event on May 6.

How to donate:

  • Online here. You can pay with any credit card or PayPal account. Payments will be processed securely via PayPal.

How can I pay with a credit card?

When you click the “Donate” button, you will be directed to Precoa Gives Back PayPal site. You can donate using your credit card or your PayPal account.

What will the funds be used for?

The majority of the funds will be given directly to the school administrators, in the form of a check, to complete their purchase of the school grounds. The remainder of the funds will be used to purchase tools and materials only, strictly for the purpose of improving the school for the specified projects. All of the labor will be provided by Precoa Gives Back volunteers. We will share pictures of the results in May.

How was this school selected?

Once we decided to help a local school in the Dominican Republic, we asked our partner Rick Lambert, CEO of Destinations Inc., to find a likely candidate. He visited several schools in the Punta Cana area while in the DR, and this school stood out as most in need of our help. Rick described their need as “heartbreaking,” and has facilitated our relationship with the school’s administrators.

What else can I do to help?

If you are attending the Precoa Escapes trip, you can still volunteer to help with the Precoa Gives Back project on May 6. There are several opportunities available; please email for more information. You may also donate supplies; in your travel packet, you will receive an envelope with more information. If you are not attending the Precoa Escapes trip but would like to help in other ways, please email
