Sit Among The Stars With “Chicago: The Musical”

One rarely gets the opportunity to be near celebrities, but on Royal Caribbean’s Allure of the Seas passengers can literally sit among the stars of “Chicago: The Musical.” When the curtains rise in the Amber Theater the cast members won’t just be on stage, they appear in surprising places like the balcony, hallways, and possibly even the seat right next to you.

The performance itself is an abridged version of the award-winning Broadway musical, “Chicago,” casted and performed exclusively for guests of Allure of the Seas. This fast-paced, 90-minute show is features the same beloved characters and toe-tapping songs of the original.

“Chicago” is just one of several great shows at the Amber Theater. In “Blue Planet” the same talented cast presents a riveting tale through aerial stunts and captivating songs. Passengers will be amazed as the performers embody a living tree one minute and turn the stage into an underwater world the next in this fascinating production. For adults, there are also entertaining game shows like “Love and Marriage” and “Adult Quest” that keep the theater crowd laughing.

More fun and entertainment can be found on the ice at Studio B, Allure of the Seas’ ice rink stage. The ice-skating cast performs two different shows there – “Ice Games,” a Monopoly-themed musical production, and “How To Train Your Dragon,” a live adaptation of Dreamworks’ animated film.

What’s a night at the theater without dinner before the show? The Adagio Dining Room is a stunning space that rises from decks three to five and serves phenomenal delicacies sure to whet passengers’ appetites. Sparkling chandeliers, candlelit centerpieces, and professional wait staff will ensure your dining experience is one to remember.

On Allure of the Seas guests not only get to see the stars, they feel like one. Between the award-winning entertainment in the theater and unparalleled dining at Adagio, this is one night out you’ll never forget.
