How to Qualify
Eligibility
Advance Funeral Planners and managers in good standing at the date of the trip are eligible. Participants will earn award points for business received by Precoa between August 1, 2026 and November 30, 2027.
Qualification
Advance Funeral Planners must earn a minimum of 2,500,000 points by November 30, 2027 to qualify for the trip. Additional points earned can be used for room upgrades, extra nights, excursions, etc. Rollover points carried over from previous years can be used for upgrades and excursions once the AFP or manager has already qualified.
Bridge Period
From December 1, 2027 through January 31, 2028, a bridge period will take place. During this time, all Advance Funeral Planners will earn points that can be used toward trip upgrades on either the 2028 or 2029 trip.
- Bridge points cannot be used toward qualification.
- If an Advance Funeral Planner does not qualify for the 2028 or 2029 trip, the points earned during the bridge period will be forfeited.
- If an Advance Funeral Planner qualifies for at least one of the trips (2028 or 2029), then the bridge points will be added to their rollover points.
Award Points
Participants will earn award points for business received by Precoa between August 1, 2026 and November 30, 2027.
- One award point for all single pay sales (including EPOs) at age 76 and up and all TIs (+1 bonus point for Home Visits)
- Two award points for all other sales from national leads (+1 bonus point for Home Visits)
- Three award points for all other sales from local lead sources (+1 bonus point for Home Visits)
- 5,000 award points for each OAP membership sold
- Minus any chargebacks – If you’re charged back dollars, you’ll be charged back the proportionate number of points to match the new policy value. Chargebacks after the qualification deadline will be applied to next year’s incentive trip point total.
*Unique rules apply for some funeral homes including Selected Services and Forest Lawn, please confirm with your manager if you have any questions.
Managers
Managers may participate as an Advance Funeral Planner and receive points on business that they personally produce as outlined for AFPs.

If you are new to Precoa between August 2026 and November 2027, below you will find the number of points needed to qualify for the trip, based on the month of your first sale.
Aug 2026: 2,500,000 points
Sept 2026: 2,500,000 points
Oct 2026: 2,375,000 points
Nov 2026: 2,250,000 points
Dec 2026: 2,125,000 points
Jan 2027: 2,125,000 points
Feb 2027: 2,000,000 points
Mar 2027: 2,000,000 points
Apr 2027: 1,875,000 points
May 2027: 1,875,000 points
June 2027: 1,750,000 points
July 2027: 1,625,000 points
Aug 2027: 1,625,000 points
Sept 2027: 1,625,000 points
Oct 2027: 1,625,000 points
Nov 2027: 1,625,000 points
Understanding Points
Terms & Conditions
Awards points are non-transferable, carry no cash or exchange value, and are redeemable only through the Precoa Escapes Program (“PEP”). Room type is based on availability. Precoa reserves the right to judge quality of business reported, as sold, as it relates to early death, lapse and surrenders. You agree to be solely responsible for the payment of any applicable federal, state or local income tax levied on any award received by you through the PEP. Precoa will file a form 1099 when the amount of any award(s) exceeds $600 in any calendar year. You understand and agree that Precoa retains the sole and absolute discretion over all matters relating to the interpretation and application of rules of the PEP.
Cancellations must be received by Precoa before the close of online registration or all points earned may be forfeited. Precoa reserves the right to change, cancel or extend program at any time. You understand and agree that all incentive or award points attributed to you, regardless of the amount, may be eliminated and deemed void by Precoa at any time for any reason.
During the Escapes trip, Precoa will take a variety of photographs and video footage for promotional purposes. By qualifying for and opting to attend the Escapes trip, you grant Precoa the absolute and irrevocable right to use your image, likeness, voice, and appearance taken in any recorded form, including but not limited to video content and digital images. Further, you agree and acknowledge that you will not receive compensation for any such future use by Precoa or its affiliates.
